Confusion continues about PUBG Mobile India’s return to India in 2021, no government talks!

There remains a mystery about PUBG Mobile’s relaunch in India. While there are several messages going on online about pubg mobile online, no discussion has taken place on the ground floor so far. There is no formal discussion between PUBG/Krafton and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) about the relaunch of PUBG Mobile in India yet.

An online publication filed an RTI and asked MeitY for clarity on the launch of PUBG Mobile? After this, the reply has been received that there has been no official meeting regarding the launch of PUBG Mobile India. PUBG Mobile was banned in India last September, along with 117 Chinese apps. Since then, the developers have been trying to relaunch it in India. Many things are used for this, such as changing the name of the game, PUBG Mobile India, changing the color of blood in the game, many things are used.

GemWire had submitted an RTI request to MeitY regarding PUBG Mobile’s return to India, to which they received a response that there has been no discussion between PUBG/Krafton and government officials yet. While the app company had announced a return to India, RTI responses have revealed uncertainty about PUBG’s return to India. So far, Krafton and its subsidiary PUBG Corporation have made a lot of efforts to bring PUBG back in India.

Following the PUBG ban in India, PUBG Corporation has announced that it will acquire PUBG Mobile from Tencent Games. After this, PUBG Corporation also started hiring for the Indian office. In November, the developers had revealed through a teaser that PUBG Mobile would soon be launched in India. IGN recently announced that the company has appointed Aneesh Aravind as country manager of PUBG Mobile India.
